Spiral Dance

The Spiral dance is an ancient Celtic tradition danced to celebrate the return of the light after the Winter Solstice. The significance of the Winter Solstice is in the culmination and then reversal of the gradual lengthening of nights and shortening of days. At the solemn moment of midnight on the Winter Solstice, the daylight begins to increase and the hours of darkness draw back into the shadow.
It is this cycle that is represented in the celebrated tradition of the Spiral Dance. Join us!

Last years border disaster forced us to get P2 visas so that something like that would never happen again. The Buffalo Spiral dance is on our visas, already approved by the U.S. Dept. of Home Land Security as early as May of 2012, so nothing will be stopping us from getting there this year....even if we have to swim across the Niagara River!"
